Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a popular Indian actress who is best famous for her role in Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun. Her career began in the early 1980s. Her character in the role of Anil Kapoor in the film Tezaab made her incredibly famous. The next time she appeared on screen was Dil with Aamir. In Mumbai her home, she grew up in a family of middle-class parents. As a child, she began to learn about age, she started to take dance lessons. While still a teenager she attempted acting, but most films she attempted to make failed. Her fame grew and she became one of India's top film actors. She decided to take a break from her profession after her wedding before returning to the world of entertainment. Recenty, she had a prominent role as a character in Gulaab Gang. The film was about struggles faced by women across India. Dixit was nominated 15 times to win Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of the awards. The actress was also honoured with her Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honor in India. She has also been recognized by the field of social work.
