MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His global success has seen his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won a Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song in 2017. In Medellin in 2017, the Sony label La Industria Inc. released ADN his first long-player. The album climbed to number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was it was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. He collaborated together with Noriel on Mala Influencia in 2020 and in the year following, he dropped his sophomore album chart-topping Dopamina. In 2021 he recorded an duet with TINI's popular track Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo is a renowned musician, born into a musical family. His mother and brother also played the guitar. In interviews, he described music participation as mandatory. As a child, was playing the ukulele and piano. Though his original career plan was to be veterinarian but his brother Julian advised him to begin taking singing lessons from a Cuban. It changed his entire life.
